Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements
Stage finished product for loading
Load finished product onto truck and/or railcar
Receive and unload raw materials from truck and/or railcar
Operate, forklift in loading and unloading material and equipment
Move raw materials to warehouse storage location
Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in
Inspect shipments for damages, loss or defects and notify Supervisor of findings
Operate shrink-wrap machine
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job safety Analysis (JSAs)
Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work area
Assures that all work assigned o position is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions, and requirements
Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments in accordance with established productivity standards
Must be able to stand/sit for up to 8+ hours/shift, and able to bend, lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to follow written/verbal instructions

Overview:
Performs functions necessary to ensure trees receive scheduled spraying. Operates farm tractors. Supervises work as authorized by Farm Supervisor and performs some administrative tasks.

- Assist with training in job responsibilities and safety procedures.
- Keep equipment clean and properly maintained for safe operation by crew.

Overview:

Pack bags of salad in a safe an accurate manner and stack boxes of salads on the skid.

The Team Members We’re Looking For
We’re looking for Sanitation Technicians. These team members provide critical support to our production process by cleaning and sanitizing the facility and the equipment used to produce our products.
Sanitation Techs are assigned to specific areas and follow all policies and standard operating procedures related to producing Safe Quality Food (i.e., SQF). These are some of the things you’d do in this position during the course of the day:
- Learn and perform all of the functions of the position assigned following all company rules and standards
- Work in a noisy, wet and cold environment with an average temperature of 34°
- Break down, clean and sanitize all of the production equipment, then reassemble it
- Wash and sanitize the processing equipment
- Identify any issues that might affect the product quality or product and worker safety and report those to a Sanitation Lead or the Sanitation Supervisor
- Clean the production area floors and empty the trash containers
- Complete sanitation logs and other related paperwork
- Perform other duties as assigned

GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:
- Direct and further develop the Sanitation for Dole’s processed vegetable operations. Responsible for managing both salaried and hourly employees within the department.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
- Prepare and manage Sanitation budgets.
- Hire and Train all hourly Sanitation Employee’s
- Ensure 100% compliance with Master Sanitation Schedule
- Report Sanitation activities in Time and scope to plant management team
- Develop and enforce plant Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPS); maintain SQF Policies and procedures and the Sanitation Procedure Manual.
- Act as liaison with federal and state agencies to ensure plant compliance with regulatory issues.

- Ensure approved chemicals and processes for all Sanitation functions and SSOP’s are followed at all times.
- Maintain Daily Sanitation documentation to verify sanitation activities.
- Responsible for Safety of all Sanitation personnel. Ensure that Safety policies are followed at all times.
- Document Corrective action for all deficiencies noted on SQF, Pre-operational and corporate audits.
- Follow all food safety requirements and GMP’s as applicable for this position
- Ensure the integrity and continued operations of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:
- EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years in food industry; experience in Sanitation, Quality or Technical Support in a Manufacturing environment; additional supervisory experience preferred. Experience in developing/building Sanitation systems or work experience in an organization with strong Sanitation and Food Safety systems. Experience with fresh, perishable products a plus.
- SKILLS: Working knowledge of food technology, processing and microbiology. Strong understanding of GMPs, HACCP and Federal/State food regulations. Strong computer/statistical skills, particularly as related to data collection, manipulation and reporting. Working knowledge of SPC/SQC. Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal). Ability to communicate and work with diverse workforce.
- ADDITIONAL SKILLS : Must have the ability to make decisions, appear for work on time, follow directions, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow posted work rules/procedures and to accept constructive criticism. Ability to work and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to maneuver around an array of equipment. Must be able to work in a cold environment. Will have some exposure to fumes and airborne particles. Ability to travel. Must be able to work in a cold, wet and noisy environment (35* on Plant floor).
WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work both a variety of shifts and hours.
- Ability to work weekends and some company holidays as needed.

The Team Members We’re Looking For
We’re looking for 1st and 2nd shift Receiving Forklift Operators who will be responsible for unloading trucks and moving raw materials within the warehouse following proper procedures. They will also manage the documentation related to their responsibilities.
For this role, you want to dress warm! You would be working in a cool environment with an average temperature of 34°F. The work surfaces and floors may be wet and you would be working around different types of chemicals. There is a lot going on, like moving machinery, including conveyors and forklifts that are in operation in the immediate area, so noise levels are high. And we’ve got you covered! Safety is ALWAYS first, so we have protocols and protective equipment to help you be able to get the job done.
As a Receiving Forklift Driver, these are some of the things you’d do during the course of the day:
- Drive and operate forklift.
- Inspect arriving trailers for possible contaminants.
- Check that the trailers outside seal is not broken and that the temperature is within spec.
- Inspect the product for possible contaminants.

Contract Dates: November 2, 2022, through March 31, 2023
Total Hours per week – 42 hours (average). Ten (10) to twelve (12) hours a day, rotating shifts, three days a week one week a (36 hours a week) and four days a week the following week (48 hours a week), occurring between Monday through Saturday, (5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or 4:00 p.m. until work is completed). Sunday work may be requested.
Job Duties: Responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload, move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle. Drives and operates forklift. Conducts equipment and inspect arriving trailers for possible contaminants. Conducts daily inventories and traceability documentation and processes. Checks that the trailer’s outside seal is not broken and that the temperature is within spec. Completes required paperwork. Unloads trailers, weigh loads, and rotate raw materials according to FIFO. Supplies raw materials and packaging to production areas as required. Be attentive to any foreign objects and damage to boxes or contents. Able to work safely around equipment and machinery.
Requirements: High School diploma/GED or equivalent. 12 months forklift driving in warehouse. Must successfully pass Forklift License/Certification or have Forklift License/Certification prior hire. A written and driving test will be conducted to determine experience level. Hands-on ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented food processing environment. Required to work independently and with limited supervision. Must be able to maintain regular and acceptable attendance, follow directions, interact well with co- workers, understand and follow posted work rules/procedures.
Training
Training will be provided for 30 days from each worker’s initial date of employment. The employer will provide on-the-job training in the proper use and maintenance of tools, supplies, or equipment required in the performance of work.
Salary
Salary Range: $18.62/hour
Salary Comments: Workers will be paid no less than $18.62 per hour. A higher rate may apply based on experience, productivity and/or market conditions. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by pay card or direct deposit. The Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
Deductions from Pay: Employer will make deductions for health benefits and 401(k) benefits offered, if eligible. Employer may offer a $500 stipend for rent. If the employer pays rent directly to the landlord, the employer may deduct any rent over and above the $500 stipend amount from the worker’s paycheck. For example, the amount of the deduction for rent will be reduced by $500. The amount of the housing stipend or the amount of the rent-related deduction from the worker’s paycheck may increase or decrease due to housing market conditions in the area of intended employment.
Overtime: For work performed in North Carolina, an overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek. Thus, non-exempt overtime hours will be paid at $27.93. Overtime hours may vary.
Assurances: (acknowledgement and agreement are required for all statements below)
Housing Assistance:
Employer may assist the employee in locating housing. Employer may offer a $500 stipend for rent. If the employer pays rent directly to the landlord, the employer may deduct any rent over and above the $500 stipend amount from the worker’s paycheck. For example, the amount of the deduction for rent will be reduced by $500. Employer is not a housing provider and will not operate housing inhabited by employees. The amount of the housing stipend or the amount of the rent-related deduction from the worker’s paycheck may increase or decrease due to housing market conditions in the area of intended employment.
Inbound Transportation and Visa Fees:
Employer will reimburse inbound transportation and daily subsistence costs for corresponding U.S. workers who are not reasonably able to return to their residence within the same workday no later than 50% of completion of the contract period or earlier if required by law.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visas, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Inbound and Return Transportation: The following provisions pertaining to provision or reimbursement for inbound and return transportation and subsistence apply only to persons recruited from outside normal commuting distance.
If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the Company will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the Company which is the place of recruitment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Training
Training will be provided for 30 days from each worker’s initial date of employment. The employer will provide on-the-job training in the proper use and maintenance of tools, supplies, or equipment required in the performance of work.
Salary
Salary Range: $17.83/hour
Salary Comments – Workers will be paid no less than $17.83 per hour. A higher rate may apply based on experience, productivity and/or market conditions. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by pay card or direct deposit. The Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.

Job Overview
The primary job responsibility is to audit the California Air Resources Board regulation for the mandatory reporting of greenhouse gas emissions, codified in Subchapter 10, Article 2, sections 9500-95157 of title 17 of the California Code of Regulations and applicable portions of 40 CFR Part 98. The LCFS applies to fuels used for transportation, including gasoline, diesel, and their alternatives. The goal of the LCFS is to systematically reduce the carbon intensity (CI) of the transportation fuel used or produced in California each year. The LCFS is administered by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), which as of 2020 requires that annual reporting requirements are verified by independent third parties like SCS Global Services.
SCS is hiring a Technical Associate II that will support the Technical Specialist in the administration of SCS’s LCFS biofuel verification programs, as well as related biofuels programs administered by SCS. The position primarily entails field auditing for clients hiring SCS to verify compliance with California’s LCFS program in North America. The LCFS Technical Associate II will also be trained to support complementary biofuel-related activities, including Oregon Clean Fuels and Canada Clean Fuels regulations.
The position entails verifying the accuracy and completeness of client reports under California law that are submitted to CARB under the LCFS program. Verification for compliance requires the Technical Associate II to assess the implementation of program standards, analysis of processing and programmatic data, in-person assessment of manufacturing operations and related data management systems, interviews of relevant staff in charge of relevant data and submissions, and prompt and professional customer service for both clients and SCS colleagues.

Technical Operations

The above reviews will require an analysis of all operational controls, data management systems, processing equipment, and other equipment or processes that may contribute to, or reduce, emissions
Make decisions to grant, maintain, reduce, expand, suspend or terminate certification based on evidence of conformance with requirements
Participate in ongoing training and evaluation of performance to ensure audit performance is executed at a level expected by SCS, SCS clients, and CARB
Be proficient in program and certification requirements, ensuring a pragmatic approach to a wide range of circumstances while maintaining the integrity of the certification scheme
Consider and implement changes affecting certification (either client or scheme initiated)
Ensure implementation of program procedures and documents
Perform audits in industrial settings at companies that produce or trade biofuels that are produced or consumed in California
Perform audits for other biofuels programs at processing facilities, storage or warehouse operations, or other locations relevant to supply chain compliance
Attend meetings/webinars/conferences focused on the LCFS and other biofuel programs standards
Provide feedback and participate when necessary in risk assessment development processes

Communication
Communicate regularly with the Technical Specialist and SCS team members, clients, and affiliate staff/auditors, ensuring they are informed of project status, issues, and compliance with general program requirements

Aid in the development of external communication materials
Able to write concise and accurate summaries of data, as well as concise and accurate summary reports in SCS-approved formats at the completion of the audit process

Minimum Qualifications
