TIPA is excited to announce Hooked on Fresh — Where Produce Meets the Catch, our brand-new fishing tournament taking place at LongBoard’s in South Padre Island, Texas! This one-of-a-kind event will bring members together for an unforgettable fishing experience featuring great food, friendly competition, exciting prizes, and plenty of camaraderie with fellow produce industry leaders.
Whether you’re an experienced angler or just along for the fun, Hooked on Fresh promises a memorable event where networking and the outdoors come together in the best way possible.

Anglers can start fishing at 6:30AM and must be in line at 12:30PM.

Anglers will compete in three categories—Red Fish, Trout, and Flounder—with teams consisting of four fishermen plus a captain (captain may only fish if serving as the fourth angler).
Registration is $350 per team including the Calcutta of three species. If you’d like to participate but don’t have a team, please contact the TIPA office at 956.581.8632 and we’ll be happy to see if there are other individuals looking to join a group. For anglers fishing independently, the tournament entry fee remains $350.
Participants are responsible for providing their own boat, captain, equipment, bait, and licenses.
All fish must meet state regulations, and the weigh master’s determination will finalize all entries and winners.
Calcutta payout will follow a 60/40 split.
Not fishing but want to join the fun? Non‑Fishing Tickets are available for $50.
