Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring that designated pallets are properly moved throughout the warehouse and into customers trucks, in a safe and efficient manner. All freight (un)loading moved according to established protocols and procedures, and that good housekeeping and quality practices are upheld customer service. Will, work with management to ensure efficiency and safety.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Handles, loads, and unloads freight in an accurate manner.
  • Monitor freight, ensuring proper identification.
  • Maintain the integrity of freight through proper handling inspection procedures.
  • Inspection of all freight during loading and unloading and cross reference BOL.
  • Weight offloaded freight and ensured freight is staged in correct location as per the bills or manifest.
  • Ensure facility maintenance through general housekeeping practices, keeping freight secure, and maintaining the assets to the facility.
  • Move inventory and materials across facilities.
  • Stack and organize produce appropriately.
  • Always remain updated with the inventory employee specially when preparing/(un)loading a shipment.
  • Any damaged materials must be reported as soon as possible to supervisor.
  • Ability to store pallets into three level high racks in cold rooms.
  • Ability to work with push-racks.
  • Must always be aware of surroundings and possible hazards.
  • Report shortages or quality deficiencies.
  • Inspect forklift to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
  • Record any discrepancies on the bills and notify supervisor immediately.
  • Must always wear employee badge ID inside the facility.
  • Will be involved with food safety activities

Other Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Follow the chain of command.

Purpose of Position:

This position will be a valued sales person on the commodity sales team with assigned account responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to increase current business and bring on new business leading to growth opportunities within the commodity Sales team. In this role, he/she will also work closely with supervisor to manage row crop and finished goods inventory.

Accountabilities:

Develop existing customer base to grow sales volumes and profits for department, including generating new ideas to assist the commodity sales team drive/maximize sales and profits.
Generate new business/customers to grow sales volumes and profits for department, including generating new channels of revenue stream (B2B, QSR, waste stream, etc.)
Quote approved commodity pricing daily with customer base, as approved by supervisor.
Take orders, write up, enter, and track orders in EDI, I-trade, and SAP system.
Verify order entry and follow orders through to delivery
Initiate, develop, execute, service and manage sales for designated accounts across total product offering
Must understand overall company sales priorities and work in a collaborative way to support the highest overall company profitability
Manage select accounts and provide some backup capacity to handle accounts when shorthanded
Input of commodity plans, times and volumes to facilitate accurate shipping appointments
Work with customers and accounting to resolve deductions and to enforce payment terms with regards to both days paid and credit balances

Required:

10+ years of proven transactional produce commodity sales experience

Job Description

Overview:

Directs the activities of Maintenance, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of services, to include preventive and predictive maintenance, planned system overhauls, and on-call repair services. Utilizes inside maintenance staff and outside equipment trained technicians to maintain all sorting, sizing, packaging, bagging and scale equipment. Facilitates the implementation of building repairs, using the professional services of inside maintenance staff and outside service contractors as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Directs and coordinates the activities of all Maintenance Mechanics and service contractors in the provision of comprehensive equipment and facility maintenance and repair services, carried out at both facilities.
Administers service contracts to assure compliance with job specifications and adherence to unit cost agreements.
Directs performance of in-house workforce and audits and controls expenditures of assigned cost centers; monitors quality of work to ensure adherence to Company and industry standards and compliance with state, and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Manages a bilingual and variable talented workforce, to include work order prioritization and management, and work/resource allocation; sets productivity, quality, and timeliness goals and standards, and evaluates effectiveness.
Continually assesses the performance of the Maintenance Department and the job skill base of all technical staff; oversees staff training and assists Human Resources Department in hiring to ensure that the workforce is capable of operating and maintaining state-of-the-art Citrus processing facility.
Develops annual operating budgets and provides fiscal direction to the Processing Facilities.
Interacts with Department Managers and other Production personnel on daily Maintenance related activities within their areas of responsibility.
Directs the implementation of shop-specific safety training programs, and assures workforce compliance with OSHA job safety requirements.
Develops and implements policies and procedures that support the pursuit of department strategic goals and objectives and are consistent with overall policies ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the facilities.
Directs an extensive and comprehensive equipment and facilities preventive and predictive maintenance program; ensures that the automated work-order management system supports the program through maintenance notification, delinquency tracking, and activity checklists.
Establishes and directs annual maintenance programs, to include off-season testing/overhaul of heating and refrigeration systems and associated control systems, as well as seasonal start-up and shutdown.
Conducts maintainability review of new construction design documents to assure compliance with published standards and to ensure reasonable repair and overhaul access.

Qualifications

Overview:

The Claims Representative will be responsible for the resolution, monitoring and tracking of spoilage claims and returns submitted by customers. This position will administrate the claims process for both domestic and export customers. In this capacity, the Claims Coordinator will review claim proposals for accuracy and compliance with company standards and will either accept claims as received or offer counter settlements based upon internal investigation and review.

Here's what you'll do:

Investigation, resolution and collection of loss, damage and spoilage claims in a timely and accurate manner.
Preparation and review of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Tracking and monitoring of claims via a master Excel Spreadsheet.
Correct and accurate adjustment of amounts due from the customer.
Make recommendations and implementing processes to strategically improve claims recovery.
Work with Sales and Customer Service personnel to expedite the resolution of open claims.

Qualifications

Here's what you'll bring to the table:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in the claims/deduction resolution and settlement process for both domestic and export markets, preferably in the perishable commodities/food industry.
Experience in international trade (Asian Markets) and the food retailing business is strongly desired.
Knowledgeable in domestic and international trade regulations, shipping procedures and documents including survey drafts, certificates, bills of lading, and invoices.
Must be analytical, detail oriented, flexible and highly organized in order to balance the responsibilities associated with the position.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems. Oracle experience preferred.

Overview:

As a Production Supervisor you'll operate in an administrative capacity, providing support to the Packinghouse. You will be responsible for the quality, production efficiency, training, evaluating, staffing and scheduling of manufacturing at TX1 Packinghouse. Additional tasks such as enforcing company policies, safety guidelines and processes and determining staffing levels to meet production demands.

Job Summary: This position is responsible for assisting the Sanitation Supervisor ensuring that the company adheres to the state sanitation protocols.
