TIPA is pleased to announce an upcoming educational event “Effective Environmental Monitoring and Aseptic Techniques“. This class will be conducted by TIPA member Merieux NutriSciences.
This course will cover all areas of environmental monitoring with a heavy focus on guidance regarding Listeria monocytogenes. The course will review a case study on the 2011 cantaloupe outbreak, define what is Listeria monocytogenes, discuss FDA’s Listeria Guidance, and share the industry’s approach to Listeria monocytogenes in produce safety.
As our industry prepares to take on FSMA and further ensure the safety of our supply chain, addressing concerns like Listeria in the growing and handling phases will become crucial to operational planning. Take this opportunity to train your personnel about Listeria and how to successfully monitor the risk in your operation.
