Registration is now open for the inaugural Hooked on Fresh Fishing Tournament, taking place Saturday, June 13, 2026, at LongBoard’s on South Padre Island.
Join the Texas International Produce Association for a day on the water with friends, family, and industry partners. This brand-new TIPA event brings our community together for friendly competition, coastal fun, and a chance to celebrate the people who make our industry strong.

Location: LongBoard’s, South Padre Island, Texas
Anglers will compete in three categories: Red Fish, Trout, and Flounder. Teams may include four fishermen plus a captain; the captain may fish only if serving as the fourth angler.
Registration is $350 per team, including the Calcutta of three species. Individual anglers may also register for $350. If you would like to participate but do not have a team, please contact the TIPA office at 956.581.8632, and we will be happy to see if there are other individuals looking to join a group.
Not fishing but still want to join the fun? Non-fishing tickets are available for $50.

Participants are responsible for providing their own boat, captain, equipment, bait, and licenses. All fish must meet state regulations, and the weigh master’s determination will finalize all entries and winners. Calcutta payout will follow a 60/40 split.
