In what has become a signature annual gathering for the Texas International Produce Association (TIPA), members and industry partners came together on Thursday evening, November 13, 2025, for the association’s annual Skeet Shoot fundraiser. The event once again served as a key activity supporting TIPA’s PAC efforts and the association’s continued advocacy work in Austin and Washington, D.C.
This year’s Skeet Shoot welcomed a strong turnout, with teams arriving ready for friendly competition and fellowship. Shooters were treated to food and refreshments before taking to the range, and the evening weather could not have been more accommodating. It was clear and comfortable, not too cold and not too warm, creating the perfect setting to enjoy time outdoors.
“Our annual Skeet Shoot PAC fundraiser continues to be one of the most anticipated events we host each year,” said Dante Galeazzi, President and CEO of TIPA. “It is a great opportunity for our membership to connect, enjoy time together, and support the work we do on behalf of the fresh produce industry.”
Mark Santos of Santos International, one of the event’s founding sponsors, echoed that sentiment. “We are proud to help bring this event to life each year,” said Santos. “It is a chance for all of us to come together, have fun, and raise important funds for our PAC. Every year we look for ways to make it even better.”
A special thank you goes to Jed Murray, who served as the event cook, along with Luis Cardenas, Michelle Cortez, and Johnny Garcia for their assistance with the cooking and preparations. Their efforts helped ensure that every team was well-fed and ready to enjoy the evening.
With mild weather, strong participation, and plenty of smiles, this year’s Skeet Shoot once again showcased why the event remains a favorite among TIPA members.
