I. POSITION OBJECTIVE

This role requires strong strategic thinking and experience working across regions. With
responsibility for overall product portfolio leadership in order to meet sales and gross margin
targets this role must closely collaborate with colleagues in Marketing, Sales, Engineering and
Operation. The position will require planning, implementing and directing the outside sales
force on their activities in their designated geographic area to achieve sales objectives.

II. QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product management/sales management/development/innovation experience
  • Relevant product or industry experience desired
  • 4+ year technical or business degree required
  • Ability to support frequent travel

III. TRAINING
Plant tour training and others to be assigned when required.

IV. AUTHORITY/DECISION MAKING

  • Market Sensing & Strategy Development. Articulate customer needs, industry & market
    trends, demand drivers, and competitive landscape
  • Develop Business Plan. Work cross functionally to define sales, technology and operations
    strategies and goals, in line with financial goals. Build consensus on specific tasks
  • New Product Development & Launch. Plans product launches, including the development of
    marketing and sales plans

V. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
  • Set individual sales targets with sales team
  • Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team
  • Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
  • Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key
  • accounts
  • Attend trade meeting and industry conventions
  • Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular
  • schedule as required.
  • Creative and innovative thinker able to provide input on the development of the product
  • strategies and the relevant business plans with the ability to execute
  • Experienced leader with an ability to influence cross functional teams and to build strong
  • relationships both internally and externally
  • Advanced presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to
  • foster understanding and acknowledgement of critical information both up and down the
  • organization.
  • Strategic pricing, product mix / promotion / strategic pricing and customer contact.
  • Identify new market/ product that can be boundle with our current existing product lines
