Texas A&M AgriLife Research, Uvalde is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Farm Manager to support field and greenhouse research projects and to be involved in the Center farm enterprise, applying efficient crop management strategies for irrigated vegetable and row crops in conventional and organic systems.
Salary shall be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Required: bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; three years of related experience in farm management operations; knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications; knowledge of farm operations and standard safety procedures; ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; may require some moderate physical activity and exposure to extreme weather conditions.
