We would like to congratulate and welcome 3 new members to TIPA’s Board of Directors:

Mr. Luis Gudino of SiCar Farms
Luis Gudino has been the CEO of SiCar Farms since 2003, who’s company is vertically integrated in the entire produce supply chain. From planting, growing, harvest, packing, exporting, importing and distribution, Luis has helped guide SiCar Farms for over 16yrs as the company has expanded their commodity offerings and presence throughout the North American market.

 

 

Mrs. Emily King of Dixondale Farms
Emily King began her produce career with Dixondale Farms in 2015 following post-graduate research in Agricultural Economics at Purdue University. After serving as the Director of Marketing for three years, she currently oversees all post-harvest activities in both the cantaloupe and onion transplant operations at Dixondale Farms.

 

 

Mr. Scott Fletcher of Allen Lund Company
Scott Fletcher left the Navy 38 years ago and began his career in transportation as a driver. Scott hauled meat and produce out of California, Florida, Texas and Arizona, before coming to the Allen Lund Company in 2008 as manager of the Dallas office and he was instrumental in the formation of TransKool Solutions which provides cooler services in McAllen. Scott is a champion for Texas/Mexico produce transportation.

 

 

On behalf of the Texas International Produce Association (TIPA), we would also like to express our sincere appreciation for the contribution and leadership of the TIPA board members that have concluded their time on the board. Their support and dedication has been invaluable to the association: Mr. Lawrence Kroman of Schmeckstien Management, & Mr. Jimmy Garza of Bebo Distributing and Mr. Jeff Lucas of Merieux NutriSciences.
